Really, I have witnessess! Tuesday night Saige had her first basketball game of the school season. You would think I would be more subdued in my current condition and decked all out in my wig. But no that was not the case, chemo has not killed any of my crazy cheering cells! I am still crazy as ever cheering for everyone, loudly, unabashed and to some I am probably obnoxious. Did I say along the way I like to win? One little side note…. I am always a positive cheerer. Anything negative is kept under breath. : ) We did not win the game but I had to laugh when a friend commented that I must be feeling well since she could hear me the whole game! Oops! That was not what I was striving for.
So all in all it has been a good week along with hormonal ups and downs. This morning I am grateful to be waking up to sunshine, my family is all under one roof (Stiles is home for the holiday break) and I am feeling positive energy from within!
Monday, December 17th is my third chemo loungapalooza and I will be half way done! Hooray! I will be thinking of you all in my lounge chair on Monday and wishing each and everyone of you a wonderful holiday and happy 2013!
May 2013 bring out the best in all of us!
